The 2016 St. Augustine Easter Parade also known as the Parada de los Caballos y Coches (Parade of Horses and Carriages) on Easter Sunday celebrates the holiday and local community. Visitors will enjoy marching bands, floats, drill teams, the Easter Bunny, clowns, the Royal Family and the city’s carriage horses wearing hats.
The parade starts at the Mission of Nombre de Dios and heads south on San Marco Ave., south on Avenida Menendez, winding through downtown. Trophies will be presented in four categories. This annual event is a fun, family-friendly event that includes the whole town.
The St. Augustine Royal Family will lead the parade followed by their entourage, bands, locally-made parade floats, pirates, festival representatives along with the Easter Bunny to round out the parade.
Begins at the Mission of Nombre de Dios located at 27 Ocean Ave. St. Augustine, FL 32084. Parade will then head south along San Marco Avenue and end near the bayfront in the historic downtown district.
