Ahoy Mateys! It's that time of year again where you put on your best Pirate Outfit and come down to the 47th Annual Eight Flags Shrimp Festival (always the first weekend in May).

The 'Little Pirates Contest is held on Saturday at the Pirate Ship Stage beside the Riverfront Stage. You'll be needin' to register the kiddies ahead of time for this contest.  Applications in PDF form are usually available here or at the Shrimp Festival.  We're waitin' on the 2010 information. 

Registration usually begins at 12:30 p.m. and the contest will begin shortly after the Pirate Invasion at 1:00 p.m.  As the date gets closer, we will update you accordingly.
